My name is MusicMan, and I am an alcoholic. I am 36 years old. Today is my second day sober. Obviously, I am a musician by trade. I have only short periods of sobriety in my adult life - 6 months in 2001, 2 months in 2003, and 1 month in 2005. My health is beginning to suffer because of my drinking, so this time the stakes are FAR higher. Please pray for me. I AM truly grateful for one day sober - does not sound like much, but for me it is a day longer to live.
